Children can achieve so much, but they need someone willing to give them an opportunity. By sponsoring a child today, you give the gift of hope to a child in destitute circumstances. Your gift of sponsorship provides a child with food, education, medical care, opportunities to learn about Jesus, and a social worker to walk beside them. You also can develop a personal relationship with your sponsored child through prayer, letters of encouragement, sending photos or drawings, or even visiting your sponsored child while on a short-term mission trip.

SHORT-TERM MISSION TRIPS
ACM welcomes church groups and individuals to help make disciples and transform communities on short-term mission trips. As a missionary, you have the opportunity to be the hands, feet, and voice of Jesus Christ to those living in the rural communities we serve. While on a trip, those who sponsor a child through ACM are able to visit their child. Many of our short-term missionaries return each year because of deep relationships formed on their first trip. As a short-term missionary, there are a variety of ways to serve. Often, our missionaries visit children and parents in their homes, teach at primary schools, help construct or repair a child’s home, feed children at school, help in our medical clinic, organize an Activity Day (similar to Vacation Bible School), share the Gospel, lead worship, prayer walk, and help train pastors. INTERNSHIPS
If you are a student who wants to gain meaningful experience in your field of study while also serving on the mission field, we encourage you to apply for an internship with ACM. From medical care, social work, and accounting to teaching children and training pastors, ACM invites interns to work in a variety of areas. Typically, our internships last two months and students can receive college credit. Click here to learn more about ACM internships.
MID- AND LONG-TERM MISSION TRIPS
If you believe God may be calling you to missionary service, we would like to talk with you about answering God’s call through ACM. We are looking for individuals, couples, and families to serve God in East Africa for a one to four-year, or even career, commitment. We would like to talk with you more about what God is calling you to and about our current missionary needs.

FUNDRAISING
Whether it’s hosting a Fun Run, planning a Gala, selling ACM jewelry, organizing a Vacation Bible School fundraiser, running a lemonade stand, or inviting ACM to share with your church or small group—there are countless creative ways to join us in fundraising and supporting our mission. All funds raised help ACM make disciples and transform communities in East Africa. We would love to talk with you more about fundraising ideas.
ADVOCACY
You can be an advocate! We need individuals, churches, schools, and other groups willing to help raise awareness of the children’s dire circumstances and needs in East Africa. Whether you are organizing a prayer event or sharing with a church group, we would love for you to partner with ACM to help make a difference in a child’s life. Please contact us if you’d like to schedule an opportunity for ACM to speak at your conference or church event (e.g. Mission Sundays, Orphan Care Sundays etc.)
COLLECT NEEDED SUPPLIES
Each year, ACM collects various supplies to send to Africa in support of the ministry. Typically, we need children’s clothes, medical supplies, laptop computers, fruit and vegetable seeds, fabric, and construction tools. Contact us to find out what supplies are currently needed.

PROVERBS 31 WOMEN'S MINISTRY
Proverbs 31 Women’s Ministry is a Christian support group for widows and destitute married women in Uganda and Kenya, Africa. Group members meet regularly to worship God, pray for and encourage one another, and work on handcrafts (recycled paper jewelry and baskets). Proceeds generated from handcraft sales are used by group members to purchase necessities including food, housing, and healthcare. In addition to income, this women’s ministry also provides protection against the dangers of abuse and exploitation. Click here to shop and support.
